According to Superintendent of Police Aleena Rajpar, the incident appears to be a targeted killing. Six suspects on three motorcycles ambushed the car, which was carrying the brothers to the city court for a hearing.
"Efforts are being made to find out the motive behind the incident," said SP Rajpar.

CCTV footage obtained by Geo News shows the suspects targeting the vehicle. A 9mm pistol was used in the attack, and police recovered 18 bullet casings from the scene.
Everyone in the car was identified as brothers.. They were rushed to a private hospital for treatment, where two of them succumbed to their injuries. The other two remain severely injured, with one in critical condition. Remarkably, one brother survived the attack unscathed.
Police identified the deceased brothers as Sajid Aurangzeb and Omair Aurangzeb. The injured are Wajid and Zubair. The attack is believed to be linked to personal enmity, and police have collected evidence from the crime scene.
Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has demanded a report on the incident from the city’s police chief. "Those involved in the firing should be immediately arrested," the governor directed, expressing alarm over such an incident occurring in the heart of the city.
